Camp St. George is conveniently located on the Salomineer Line, just 20 minutes from St. John's. The camp is situated on 2 hectares of beautiful forest which provides the ideal backdrop for many group activities. The camp is operated and maintained by the 1st CBS Scout Group and is available for rentals from April to December.
The main building is a large modern cabin, approximatly 3500 square feet and consists of a 60ft x 40ft room that can be used for meetings, games, and sleeping accomdations. This area can be divided into two partioned areas which allows multiple activities to occur. The building is fully serviced with electric heat, running water, bathroom and shower facilities.
The building has a fully functional extra large kitchen. It is equipped with two electric ranges, a full size refrigerator, and a large cooler. Cooking pots and pans are provided, as well as place settings for 36 people.
